Not sure if you were up on New Edition back in the day, but they were pretty popular among the grade school and middle school kids in Albany, Oregon during the late 80′s.
One of the first modern boy bands, New Edition was where pop/R&B/hip hop artists Bobby Brown, Bell Biv DeVoe, Johnny Gill, Ralph Tresvant and a couple others got their break. This particular song/video, “If It Isn’t Love” (written and produced by Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis) was a hit with all of the girls because of the dance choreography throughout. Actually, this is where I learned most of my moves… The New Kids on the Block would copy them…although I think they were all ripping off the Jackson 5.
This is classic 80′s pop.
