It's pretty sad when you can write a whole essay about why Palin is a terrible pick without even mentioning her misguided stances on all the issues...

Wow, that SNL clip is great Kyle!

Funny thing... I actually did the research on why Palin named her kid Bristol. It's just that my essay was getting so long that I ended up cutting that part out.

She says she named her Bristol because they often go boating in Bristol Bay... Another source said that she used the name Bristol because she was pursuing a job with television cable sports network ESPN at the time and their headquarters is located in Bristol, Connecticut. Talk about weird...

Here's a good op-ed column I read in the NY Times yesterday, expanding on my views of Palin:

..see if this works. Halfway through reading this I tried to Wiki (why is that not a verb yet? Did I just create a web-age neologism?) Bristol Palin to find out where her weird-ass name comes from. It's kind of a cool name, but considering mommy Sarah has never been to England (seriously, what's with these Republicans--good ol' W included--never leaving America except for spring break to Cabo--good ol' W especially--and then criticizing the 'lack of foreign policy experience' of someone who spent a portion of his childhood in the most populuous Muslim country in the world? [Maybe it's just me, I think that could be kinda useful experience, even if it was 40 years ago.]), then where'd she come up with 'Bristol'? While Googling for this, I found this post on the Huffington post, which I've been accessing the past few days because they're quick to post political videos, such as the Palin-Gibson interview (transcript only last I checked, but that's something), or John McCain on The View (why's that young ditzy blond one on that show? What's her purpose? Other than eating egg salad out of John McCain's ass on that particular episode, I mean).
So if this embed works, it's the opening from the latest SNL, with Tina Fey deadringing the VP candidate in question.
Oh, and I am SO looking forward to the Vice Presidential Candidate debate. That's gonna be FUN to watch? When is that?...

Hmmm...looks like you're clouding your own judgment with 'facts'. Typical Liberal thinking...you must have learned that type of analysis at that uppity state university. Let me just point out some things you missed which, in my opinion, prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Governor Palin is fully prepared to dominate the world:

1. She can field dress a moose
2. Her nickname is 'barracuda'
3. She's a reformer. She turned that 'small town' around! When she came into office the city had no debt to speak of and when she left, it had a debt of nearly 30 million dollars, even though tax revenue increased by 38%. Wait...never mind that. What I mean to say is, as Governor she has cut back on earmarks. Alaska ranks very low among US states when it comes to earmark dollars per capita. It's number one, and one is a very small number!
4. She has loads of international experience. Did you know that Alaska is very close to Russia? Plus, she's been to Canada and Mexico.

Ryan, I like you. You're a nice guy. Please, for the sake of our nation, stop being so analytical and just get with the program!
