Holy crap! Brian Wilson does the Black Cab Sessions?!
Maybe you’re already up on the Black Cab Sesions, maybe you’re not. If you aren’t, boy, you’re really missing out on some good stuff. You see, there’s this taxi cab in London, UK that gets artists and bands to get in while they drive around, and they video tape them singing and playing songs. It’s really a brilliant little deal they have going. Johnny of The Dimes turned me onto this a few months back.
Some of my favorites sessions include Death Cab, Fleet Foxes, My Morning Jacket, and Spoon to name a few. But I about peed my pants with excitement when I just saw Brian Wilson on there, sitting in the back seat of that cab, doing a couple classics. Wow. That’s some good stuff right there… Check it out:
