This is no ordinary plate of nachos. These are celebratory nachos.
You see, today I was offered (and accepted) a new role with a particularly impressive advertising agency in Portland, Oregon. They’re a dynamic and growing organization, and are industry leaders in direct response advertising, direct response TV, new media, and soon to be a leader in interactive web strategies. This is a new commitment that I’m quite excited about and I’m very much looking forward to learning, leading, and making an impact with.
Not to mention, for the first time in my life I’ll be able to walk to work – only a 5-10 minute walk from our place in the Civic to the North Park blocks in the Pearl. Do you realize how many places serve nachos in the Pearl District?! I can’t wait!
Photo Note: The above pictured nachos are made of Trader Joe’s organic white corn tortilla chips, covered in hand shredded organic pepper jack cheese, drizzled with Trader Joe’s enchilada sauce, covered with 1/3 can of organic whole pinto beans, doused with chipotle hot sauce, topped with an unhealthy dose of organic low fat sour cream. Not pictured: guacamole and salsa.
Congrats baby. Really.
And yes, I’m jealous of the walk…
So proud of you! Sorry I missed last night- wish I could have gone; I’m sure it was a blast.
Let’s talk soon.
Love- A
